Anyway, how did Harry not know exactly how his parents died? His aunt and uncle always lied to him? He couldn't just jump on Google and find some of that info?
I can’t believe Oliver Wood was dead serious when he said, "You can't cancel quidditch." Like it's the fucking elections for President of the Imperial Galactic Government.
Not that those elections are serious in any way, I mean, they chose Zaphod Beeblebrox as President.
"Harry, she only likes you because she thinks you're the Chosen One."
"But I am the Chosen One."
DAMN STRAIGHT HARRY, TALK YOUR SHIT
Harry is the perfect hero because he never wanted to be a hero. He never sought to be a hero. He literally had no choice. A prophecy said some kid might kill Voldemort, and Voldemort was like, that's Harry, let me kill him first. Then boom, a bunch of dead people, and it's Harry's turn to be the hero.
But besides being The Boy Who Lived--
--and he didn't even do anything to earn that. All the credit should go to Lilly Potter. She cast herself in front of Voldemort's spell and saved Harry. James Potter got his ankles broken and was left wrecked in the second-floor hallway like Reggie Bush after that Lito Shepard hit [CORRECTION: Apparently, the hit was by Sheldon Brown. Reggie got hit so hard even he thought it was Lito Shepard.] Anyway, the Potter family didn't stand a chance without Lilly.
Think of Voldemort like Trae Young and James Potter like the Bucks defender:
Another word on the prophecy, the way it was written, could've been interpreted as two different kids. Voldemort just reached Harry as a conclusion first and fixated on him. The other potential kid that could've brought down Voldy was Neville Longbottom.
Poor Neville also lost his parents and didn't get any fame. And he's even more of a loser than Harry. But he kills Nagini at the end, giving Harry the chance to finally kill Riddle, so he's kind of the hero as well.
He also gives a great speech and declares his love for Luna. He and Luna gonna be having some freaky sex. I know she's definitely a Top but like a calm and controlled one.
I don't know whether to be aroused or scared
(or both).
if it’s not ride or die like Dumbledore & Hagrid i don’t want it
I aspire to be ride or die for my friends and family (and have them be for me) like Dumbledore and most people in his life. Several times Albus lets people know he has the utmost confidence in Hagrid and would trust him with his life. And Hagrid always has his back as well (I was gonna write out the specific scenes but fuck it just watch the movies and catch them yourself I’ve written enough).
Dumbledore's brother told Harry not to trust Dumbledore. But Harry rode for him until the very end, and he was right. Because loyalty is blind. Loyalty is faith. Loyalty is hope.
(I HAD NO WAY OF GETTING THE VIDEO HERE BUT IT’S A GREAT ONE SO TAKE 60 SECONDS TO FOLLOW THIS LINK

It is the quality of one's convictions that determine success, not the number of followers.
-Remus John Lupin
The last book in the series is about the Deathly Hallows. Three items that let one become the Master of Death.
The Elder Wand (most powerful wand ever)
The Cloak of Invisibility
The Resurrection Stone
You didn't have to pay much attention to realize Harry has or comes across all of them at one point or another. But at the end, right before his second to last battle with Voldemort, Harry drops the Resurrection Stone that was hidden in the golden snitch Dumbledore gifted him in his will.
Why would Harry do that?
Because mastering death isn't avoiding it. It's living a life of purpose so fulfilled that when the time comes to move on, you're able to walk to it instead of running from it.
And if there's one thing that this series tells us over and over and over again, it's that the important things in life are the ones we always seem to take for granted.
Our friends and family.
The people who are there for us during the good times and the bad times. But we're so caught up in all the other shit that's going on around us we forget to appreciate those things.
We think it's money, or power, or fame, or some glorious purpose we've chosen for ourselves. But after amassing thousands of followers, bringing the entire world to its knees in fear, and being declared the most feared wizard of all time, Tom Marvolo Riddle died utterly alone.
With no one at his side
Having conquered nothing.
Having only showed how foolish it is to live a life where one's sole purpose is to gain wealth and power.
So, I beg of you.
Go out there and have fun.
Take a break from work.
Take a break from thinking about monetizing your hobby.
Look up at the fucking sun or sunset and take a picture of it if you feel like it. Post it, don't post it.
Do whatever the fuck you want.
Just do something for the sake of doing it at the moment instead of trying to gain some monetary value or clout from it.
Do it because it makes you happy. That's what life is about.
PS
One last thing about the movies and Harry being uncool in general.
For a coming-back-from-the-dead-jump off Hagrid's arms, I'd rate that a 1/10.
Harry has absolutely no style—
negative style actually.
He couldn't handle an iPhone.
If he ever got one, he'd just have like an iPhone 8 in 2021. And not because he's one of those rich people who want to not feel guilty about their wealth, so they keep an old iPhone while wasting money on ridiculous home decorations and other extravagant things they need even less.
Because he actually has no need for anything the phone does besides communicate with other people and take the occasional picture of Ginny or the sunset (notice how I didn’t mention his kids). Yes, even Harry Potter takes sunset pictures. So the next time you see one, and you want to be the jerkoff who says, "Put your phone away and enjoy the moment."
Shut up and just take the fucking sunset picture.
Actually, maybe Harry has a little bit of style.
See you seven days from now
at the start of next week 🪄✨🗓
